The Common Core
Today's world is competitive, fast-paced, complex, and technology-driven. CSU Global Campus's philosophy is that education must be career-relevant and provide learners with success skills for navigating the modern world in the global information age. Woven throughout the common core are the important themes of technology, critical thinking, research skills, leadership, ethics, and communication, all of which are skills that students will apply and refine as they progress through the specialized curriculum of their major area. The core courses provide students a toolbox for analysis, synthesis and application, as well as a set of shared values about leadership and communication that they will use as they work together individually and in teams throughout their academic program. Courses within the common core support the foundational courses for all of CSU-Global Campus bachelor's degrees.

Business Management Specialization
Designed for students seeking careers in the private sector, the Business Management specialization introduces you to key business functions, through the following courses:

- Information Systems Design and Management
Public and Nonprofit Management Specialization
Designed for students seeking leadership careers in the public and nonprofit sectors at the local, state and national levels, the Public and Nonprofit Management specialization emphasizes working with governmental agencies. Through the following courses, you will learn the inner-workings of the nonprofit and how to work with administrators to advance public policy:
