Betty Whitesell, M.B.A., Ph.D., Director of Leadership, Management and Organizational Studies Programs.
Dr. Betty Whitesell is the Director of Leadership, Management and Organizational Studies. She will ensure academic quality for the programs in leadership, management, and organizational studies; direct the faculty and the organization and development of curriculum. Before joining the CSU-Global Campus, she was the Interim Dean for the School of Management in the College for Professional Studies at Regis University. She lead the School in a transition that integrated graduate and undergraduate programs and faculties, developed processes for course and program quality, and with faculty identified and established processes for development of course and program quality. She has integrated assessment criteria for programs, defined facilitation standards, with instructional designers established criteria for course development, and taught courses in operations and general management. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Whitesell managed the financial assets and executed the fiduciary responsibilities for Court appointed conservators and personal representatives. She consulted on financial forecasts and co-developed marketing programs for care management services. Dr. Whitesell has presented papers on faculty development focusing on building programs for affiliate/adjunct faculty, and on strategic management for entrepreneurs.
Dr. Whitesell has a Ph. D. in Organizational Management with a specialization in Communication Technology.
