If you are interested in natural resources or already have an Associate in Applied Science degree in law enforcement or a related field (or an associate's degree in another specialty), the B.S. in Public Management could be your stepping stone to career success.
This degree can prepare you for leadership positions within the public safety profession - in law enforcement agencies, park services, fire and safety, school and community safety groups or corrections facilities. Management positions within federal or state agencies working with forest services, land management, park services and environmental protection agencies are also career possibilities.
Today’s world is competitive, fast-paced, complex, and technology-driven. Woven throughout the common core are the important themes of technology, critical thinking, research skills, leadership, ethics, and communication, all of which are skills that students will apply and refine as they progress through the specialized curriculum of their major area.
