Undergraduate Admissions

Generally, students should have ...

• more than 12 transferrable college credits from an accredited college/university or
• AA or AS degree from a Colorado Community College 

Every student’s situation is different, which is why our advisors look carefully at your previous college-earned credits. We apply a national set of evaluation standards when we review your credits.

Typically, credits are accepted for course work that:

• Was completed no more than 10 years ago
• Was earned at an regionally accredited institution
• Has earned a grade of C- or better
• Meets Colorado general education requirement standards or the equivalent for out-of-state learners
• Can be used as a program requirement or general upper-level elective

We will, however, evaluate credits based on your individual situation. Credits that are older than 10 years will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our advisors. Additionally, if you are active duty military or a reservist, we strongly encourage you to contact an advisor, as your military coursework and/or training may likely apply toward Colorado state education requirements for our online degree programs.

Students, who, after credit review, fall beneath the required number of credits necessary for admittance, may be provisionally accepted. Don’t worry, though. In that situation, you will be advised of necessary courses needed to fulfill those requirements. Our advisors will be with you every step of the way – providing support and ensuring a smooth start at CSU-Global Campus.

Your credits at Colorado State University-Global Campus will also be eligible for transfer to other campuses within the Colorado State University System or to any other accredited college or university, based on their individual requirements.
