Credit by Exam

A student may earn a maximum of 30 hours of credit by examination toward the minimum semester hours required for graduation regardless of the source type.  Types and methods of earning credit by examination are as follows:

Advanced Placement
AP credit will be granted for scores of 3, 4, or 5

International Baccalaureate Program
A score of 4 or better on IB exams will receive between 3-10 credits in most cases

College Level Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES Subject Standardized Tests and other examinations recognized by the American Council on Education for the award of college level credit.

Exam credit will be accepted and posted on the transcript if the student submits an official score report and has scored at or above established benchmarks.  For more information, please contact your admission advisor.
