Graduate Admissions Requirements

A graduate degree from Colorado State University-Global Campus can be the next step towards advancing your personal,  professional and academic goals.  Prospective students should have ...

  • a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • a 3.0 grade point average (preferred)

Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 are encouraged to apply since many factors are considered in the admission decision.  Students who do not meet the GPA requirement must demonstrate other indicators of graduate success. These indicators may include high GRE or GMAT scores, solid upper-division performance, relevant professional experience or outstanding professional achievement.

General Guidelines for Transfer of Credit
  • A maximum of nine (9) semester credit hours of graduate level coursework from other regionally accredited graduate institutions may be applied to a graduate degree program.
  • Transfer credits must be applicable to the degree program and must be approved by the Dean.
  • Graduate credits accepted in transfer must be from a course in which a grade of B- or better was earned. Transfer grades and credits are not computed within the cumulative grade point average earned at CSU-Global Campus.
  • Credits used for a degree at another institution cannot be used toward fulfilling a CSU-Global Campus degree.
  • Courses taken for undergraduate credit by a graduate student will not apply towards the graduate degree and/or be entered into the graduate grade-point computation.
